It looks like it, ![]()
Example, using > in a post then Previewing returns a &xxx code instead of the > but Submission corrects that.
Just noticed it today, so great work Lee and team. Thank you.

Hey everyone,
First a note of thanks and appreciation to all of you who have submitting feedback (good or bad) and notifying us of bugs in regards to the newly redesigned forums and new features! I truly appreciate it.
Below is a quick update of where we stand with some of our forum bugs and specific items that some of you have complaints about. Many of these have been addressed and the remaining items are either currently being or will be looked into.
Forum Bugs:
-- Submission to forums via mobile device do not work Fixed
-- Submission form field extended beyond right hand border Fixed
-- Reply message body text after submission is being copied into every subsequent reply form on the page Fixed
-- View counts displaying -1 Fixed
-- Hover over on subject line on forum listing page containing links has dark blue letters on a black background. Fixed
-- After submitting a post, frequently receiving the message: "Thank you, your post has been submitted and will appear on our site shortly." Fixed
-- The ability for the original author to vote on their own replies as helpful, "Like" their own discussion, and vote I have this question too for their own question. Fixed
-- Question post type: Once an answers has been select as "Best answer", all the replies to the best answers are disassociated and not moved up along with the parent post (best answer.) Fixed
-- After submitting a reply, "My tracked discussion" button is displayed as "TRACKED" when you are actually not tracking the thread. Fixed
-- HTML added to submission field displays differently during previewing of post and after submission of post. Fixed
Forum functionality complaints or dislikes:
-- Submission form tabbing on keyboard from subject line to body field Fixed
-- Tracked discussion checked by default during submission Fixed--now unchecked by default
-- Question (Q&A) post types, limited depth 2 replies Fixed--restricted depth of replies now lifted
-- Submission forms body field too small Fixed, we've increase the height by 150%
-- Request to add border around each post so that thread depth can be easier to follow at a glance Fixed--added border
-- While creating a new discussion thread, if you click anywhere outside of the submission form, the form disappears. Fixed--no more accidental click that closes the submission form
Outstanding bugs still in queue that are being investigated:
-- Copied and pasted text into body field removes line breaks from copied material
-- Next unread and messaging marking not functioning for all threads
-- After cancelling a reply, when the same form is reopened, the body field of the form still retains the typed content prior to the post being cancelled.
-- Member usernames displaying as "Anonymous" for an extended period of time, even though the member does have a username.
In addition to the above outstanding bugs, we are continuing to review and making tweaks to improve the Q&A post types experience. There are also a few other cosmetic adjustments that we are still working out and will update them down the line.
Thank you all for your time, please do let me know if I missed anything, with many of these bugs being reported, I'm sure I failed to mention a few.
Thanks!
-Lee
