That's an easy one to get rid of. The text for the title bar of IE is in the registry. Run regedit, browse in the left pane to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
In the right pane you'll see the contents of this 'folder'. Near the bottom (it's alfabetic) is an item call "Window Title". Doubleclick and replace it by whatever you like (mine is simply "IE"). Then OK. And exit regedit via the File-menu.
Hope this helps.
Whenever I click on a link, the next page always includes the status bar running at the bottom. How do I once and for all get rid of the status bar at the bottom w/o having each time to go up to view and un check status bar ?
