keaney2023,
Unfortunately, that's something service will have to address. I have very little pull with the U.S. service department, and none outside of the U.S.
I wish I could help, but I'm not able to resolve this. See if you can appeal with the service department in your region.

Please help, I purchased my Samsung LCD tv in 2007, after 8 months a smear appeared on the screen with discoloured pixels, the screen was promptly replaced and the service was great. I then noticed a few days later that static white lines were appearing during advert breaks and in some sections of the screen where it is black.
These are feint horitonal white lines that only go 10-15 cm each in length and about 2 rows of pixels each, they would be going down one verticle section of the screen, as if a rectangular shape of verticle white lines down the screen.
I believed that this may due to the scart source as if you wiggled the scart they would dissappear for 5 minutes. We discussed updating Sky to SkyHD to avoid the issue, however after getting my HD player back and trying it, it also appears on HD sources.
The screen is out of warranty and its a few weeks after the 3MONTH!! warranty of the replacement part.
I'd like to know what my options are and why Samsung don't cover replacement parts for 1 year!!
Please help
