Static sound burst in TV

Sep 11, 2005 6:03PM PDT

I get a static burst sound in my TV (only on ESPN and ESPN2) at certain points like when somebody quits talking or when going to a commercial. I was wondering if anybody knew if it is a possible voltage problem or another piece of electronics close by? It only happens on one TV (Pioneer 52") and it happens with or without the digital cable box hooked up. Also happens when the TV is turned down and the audio is via the receiver/home theater.
