Static on Denon DCM 380 CD Changer

My Denon DCM 380 5-CD changer has begun to produce massive background static when played. I suspect that the reader is dirty. Has anyone had a similar experience with their CD changer, and if so, do you have any advice to fix it? Thanks.

JUST REMEMBER DENON is not the "Archangel of Audio."
Somehow I wouldn't assume it's the disc itself, if this happens with many CD's.
