Just assign your LAN address as you wish. I'm wondering why you are asking as it's been done since day 1.
Bob
I have a managed modem with static IP through Rogers ISP. Connected to this is a ASUS wireless router.
Is there a setup where I can use the static IP address on one computer and the DHCP for all other computers on the network?
Or can I assign a specific IP address on the network to this one computer and then route the incoming application to that computer?
This computer runs a chatroom called 123 Flash Chat which requires the static IP.
Is there a way to do this? Thanks!
