Startup Error

- Microsoft Windows XP, Home edition, Version 2002.

- eMachine, t1090/T1096. Intel Celeron Processor, 897 MHz, 128 MB of RAM.

On start up an error window pops up and in the description field it reads " can't load LXSUPMON.DLL".

I am not certain what problems this could create, but, sometimes, My browser will not open after using an application. After this happens nothing I click has an effect, not even if I wait on it patiently.

Now it is beginning to aggravate me...I can't seem to keep my comp turned on long. Every few minutes. I get a message with a 60 second timer saying windows has to to shut down. Because, the remote procedure protocol has been terminated unexpectedly. I don't know if it is related but it sure feels that way, hehe.
