starting problems with my 1995 jeep Cherokee county

Ok guys im really stumped i have my granddad's jeep ever since he had an aftermarket radio put back in after his first one was ripped out there as been a problem staring the jeep i have to bypass the celinoid but thats not the problem because i put 2 other starters on the jeep (one brand new and one refurbished) i had to do the same thing with the when i turn the key the fan kicks on. Any ideas?
also does any one know what the 7 wires that go to your ignition are? (In order it red purple orange red blue small grey with white strip then yellow wire) i need to know what these wires are being im going to runs and all toggle switch start up and only use key to unlock the steering wheel
