Even if it's possible to buy such an antenna (anybody can build a tower to attach it to, so that wouldn't be the issue, allough you would need to get permission from the authorities) you would have to connect it to your servers that run the necessary software and are linked to Internet and the national phone system infrastructure. In most countries there are only a few companies (like AT&T, Vodafone, Sprint, T-mobile) that have such an infrastructure. So I'd contact them about the options.
Be aware that most 'independent' cell-phone providers use such an existing network; they don't build their own.
Best of luck with your project.

I am lost right now. I know what I want to create. But its going to be a long road to get there.
I need to first find out...
1. What is the best way for a boat to receive 4g speeds.
(up to 15 miles away from the tower).
2. Is it possible for a person like me (your average joe) to purchase those cell phone towers you see up in the fake trees etc..?
3. If so, where would I be able to find out the specs on these towers, like... how far they can send out a solid signal, can i also mount one on a boat?
I have a project in mind that requires this technology. I thought about satellite internet, but from what I read its a weak signal (not powerful enough to send live video feeds) and mean for those deep sea boats, which is not the case in my situation. I plan on having a boat/s out 15miles max from the antenna/tower.
I realized this morning just how lost I am at the moment. I dont know where to go from here and Im home that the cnet forum members put their knowledge on this thread and point me in the right direction.
ANY information will help me a TON. I plan on changing the world. I'm aware of how this might sound, but I believe 100% that I'll make millions happy with my idea.
Thanks for your time
Rick
