Question

Starting a charitable organization

Jun 23, 2015 9:57PM PDT

Hi! My first post in this forum. I'd like to get some valuable advice here. I belong to a team of a social organization and we are some youngsters planning to set up a charitable organization for the abused. We are raising fund from different sources. None of us have been into this before. Would like to know the requirements of starting a charitable organization. Should we take the help of an agent for this? How long will the procedures last.

One of your team should be a good lawyer. Or align yourself with another charity.

First of all, I would like to congratulate you for thinking about starting a charitable organization. Not everyone would have the mind to start something like this. Since none of you have any previous experience in this field, I will suggest that you seek the help of a online business incorporation. They will help you with everything starting from the name search to the business registration. So all the best with your venture.
