Start up problem

I have had a problem with System restore, but solved it by renaming the Wininit.ini file as suggested in the Microsoft Knowledge Base. But now I find the same file is generated each time I start up, how can I avoid this please. The file is
Nul=C:\Windows\Temp\GLB1A2B.exe

That's likely to be the same GLB virus/trojan/spyware issue you can read about in the Virus and Security Forum.

Just my outlook on this is I don't allow any such items on my machine. I also don't use Internet Explorer much.
