Start up menu appears?

When starting my computer it usually flashes Windows Me then begins to load. Recently when I start up the "MS WINDOWS ME Startup menu" appears with 4 options.
1. normal
2.boot...
3. safe mode
4. step by step config.

I then have to hit normal to boot. Is there a way to bypass this menu?
