Using: 98SE IE6
In misconfig:startup.. listed and checked twice is:
LoadPowerProfile Rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,LoadCurrent PwrScheme. Do I need this checked twice??

Yes. The first entry is for initial power controls, the second is specific to the user's wants.

This is documented and findable with Google, but I felt a simple yes and one-liner would suffice. Deeper inspection will not be answered by me, but Google.

May depend on what type of machine you have and what features your using.

You can Google each item and do some reading.

On this w98 machine (desktop+no power management) I have NONE of these items in msconfig.
