Start up error

Aug 27, 2007 6:46AM PDT

I had to reinstall ME on my wifes computer and now I get the famous BLUE screen as soon as the ME Logo shows up. I hit enter and everything loads okay. The message I get is:

An exception on 0E has occured at 0028:C006115D in VxD VNETBIOS(01) + 00000B8D. This was called fom 0028:C023F58B in VxD VMM(0C) + 0000058B

I have ran several Reg Repair programs but none have repaired the problem. Any suggestions on what might be causing this error? Since it happens as soon as ME begins to install I don't think it's a register problem. Thanks Angelfood

The computer is a Dell 8100
Window ME (all critical updates have been loaded)
Intel Pentium 4 CPU
384 MB Ram
