How can I restart my computer so that when it turn on it skips the welcome screen and also skips the login process, Isn't there an auto-login on SP2.

Not sure if this is quite what you are looking for. But you might check out 'User Accounts' in the Control Panel. Then click on 'Change the way users log on or off'. Then de-select 'Use the Welcome screen'.

I heard that the Welcome screen just hides system tests that are in progress while the system Boots. So removing the Welcome screem might not make the system Boot faster.
