Start menu and taskbar...

Is it possible to lower the taskbar while the start menu is up?

And tried it in Classic Shell too. This doesn't appear to be a Windows trick. Maybe you'll need a custom app?

There is one advantage...

instead of right clicking an app in the start menu to lock on the taskbar, you can also drag and drop the app in the taskbar which I find easier to do.
