This is just one of tbe unresolved bugs in this OS. And the article does not tell the issue extends to any of the power saving modes.

I have an AMD Duron 900mhz with windows ME. Sometimes when i leave the system in standby mode and come back to it, it will not restart when I move the mouse or hit any key. I have to push the restart button, and everything has to reload again. Any suggestions.
