Michael,
Welcome to the forum.
Just so I can reference the picture comparison, was your 55" LCD projection an HD or SD set?
Movement on SD-to-HD pictures can often be "blocky and fuzzy" because you're displaying 480 lines of resolution on a 1080p panel, which is more than twice the original resolution. This is best compared to zooming in too far on a picture you're viewing on a computer.
To make sure the unit isn't malfunctioning, you also might want to compare the unit in the store where you purchased it from. Ask the salesperson to show you your version of your television on an SD feed and see if that's what you're seeing.
Please keep me posted. We're here to help.

I am attempting to display my standard definition Dish Network signal on my new LN46A550P3F via a coaxial connection and the image is horrible. Images in the picture which are not moving look pretty clear, but the second something in the image moves it becomes very blocky and fuzzy.
I am using the same setup with my 3 year old Sony 55" rear projection LCD TV and the image quality is quite good even during fast motion sequences.
Please Help, this has made very unhappy with my Samsung TV purchase.
Thanks much,
Michael
