I can't count how many times the Windows users find a trivial thing to ask why its different even when everything works fine.
I've noticed that on my iMac G4, the stacks in my dock contain different "colors" or "effects" when you open a folder in grid mode. For example, if I open my Utilities folder from the dock, there are some orange highlights and colored streaks on the ends of the stack. Most of the other folders in my dock, Applications, the HD, etc., have a silver one in the same location (on the right side of the grid).
Now I know that since this is a Power PC Mac, Leopard is going to be different from the Intel version, so some features will differ in several places. I want to know if this is one of them. Should these stacked folders in my dock have these colored "highlights"? Each stack has a similar, but different, one. It would appear that it is supposed to be this way, but since I haven't since this on any other Mac, I can't tell if this is normal or not.
Assistance appreciated.
