SSD's anyone have a clue?

Mar 26, 2017 9:05PM PDT

Everything ive read about them are very contradictary, but ive decided to look into possabley getting a small ssd 500gb. Who is the most reliable anymore? with real world read and write speeds thats close to a third avertised, and that have the design to last a while and not just die after a few months of super speeded processing? and that will work well paired with a hdd.

Pick one that's the style you want and fits your budget.

Any ssd/hdd can be DOA or die in a day/week/month etc.
That's why we have backups.

Recently picked up two 500GB sk hynix sl308 units.
Neither was DOA and both give nice benchmark numbers.
Based on my usage it will take 30+ yrs to wear them out.
