Question

SSD/HDD Swap

So recently I decided I wanted to rebuild my pc, I bought a core i9x, new asus motherboard, new liquid cpu cooler, additional fans and a new HDD. The goal is to use my 2 2080ti GPUs, power supply & ram from my old PC. I also want to use my SSD and HDD from my old pc. Would it work if I build the new one and used my old SSD and HDD which has windows? Or do I need a new version of windows installed?

Windows has for decades not moved.

Or when it did there are many problems. Those that don't believe this usually try, learn why we do a clean install and the few that succeed later find out why we do a clean install. Since you have nothing to lose, try it.

Can you explain what you meant by "new version of windows"?

...install all the new drivers needed, those for the new motherboard, those for the added other components such as the video cards.
