If the documentation is this poor, and given how treacherous RAID can be, I suggest you set it up normally and in a way you can support.
Bob
I have a few questions here. It seems like I can't find anything on the net about my issue. I'm a complete noob here, just so you know, and my computer terminology is pretty weak. I already have a hardrive and not I'm installing an SSD for fast boot another things.
First: I just installed an SDD into my PC computer. I noticed I have 4 bays, SAT1,SAT2,SAT3,SAT4. I am using a Sata 3 SSD, does this mean it goes into SATA3 BAY? (This seems obvious, but I'm asking anyways) The reason the cable wont fit when I put it in SATA3, so I installed it into Sata 2.
Second: Once it was in, I closed the case up and turned it on. I now get this message before it loads windows. It tells me to Control + i to get into Raid Bios. This is where I'm lost! What the heck do I do in there? I can't understand anything in there. Its says set up raid volume or something. So right now, every time I start my computer I get this.
Third: What is the best way to install windows 8 onto ssd, I just upgraded, made an ISO and burned it to a DVD. First I need to figure out the above problem before I continue to this.
At this point I dont think my ssd is usable until I deal with that raid bios. If any one can lead me through step by step instructions for a noob, thank my many thanks!!! ![]()
Thanks again!!!!!!
