SpywareXterminator

Jul 7, 2004 4:18PM PDT

I installed spywareXterminator because my computer was infected with this adware, spyware, troyan.
It found 1586 files infected in many different areas of the system.
It has been running this program for more than 24 hours already and still running deleting files. this is normal that is taking so long to delete all these files, or should it done faster? Or where can I find a free ware so I can try it and be able to scan and removed all these filesfaster, I was thinking if it took only a few minutes to locate all the files, I was expecting that it will take the same time to delete them.

There are several programs available to find and remove spyware. Try Spybot or AdAware. If you actually have over 1500 infected files, you really should re-evaluate how you use your computer.

Man, you got your work cut out for you Sad

A good software that has great ratings is Spy Sweeper. Very effective and only $30.

If you have confidential info on your computer, best to protect it via antivirus and firewall software so that none of that stuff is leaking out to the wrong people.

Cheers,
