Contact the CC issuer and dispute the charge if you do not hear back from PCTools and get the matter resolved.
You would probably be better off to purchase the program in your own name. I could not find Terms and Conditions of sale/purchase, but it could be that the subscription service is not transferable in which case attempted transfer may constitute fraud.
Hope this helps.
I sure hope someone here can help me, PCTools does not offer phone support and have to wait for them to get off their A**es to reply.
I aquired a computer with Spyware Doctor on it, the keycode and user was expired, I purchased a new keycode and when I install the new version the old owner still appears registered and "expired" in the registered area. When I went to update the code, it wants my credit card again! I am not paying for another key code, I just bought one. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to rid the previous owner from the computer?
Cloe
Keep in mind, I uninstalled the old one before installing the new.
