Spyware Blaster

Aug 31, 2005 1:31PM PDT

I had downloaded this and tonight when I tried to check for any updates I get an error message..this is what it says

there was an error getting the update information file from the server. The server may be temporarily unavailable, or there may be a conflict with firewall software installed on your pc. The update information file may have also gotten corrupted durint download.

HOW do I find out which it is????

and how do I fix it??
I have Norton, Microsoft antiSpyware and Trend anti spyware.

Gwingee, Try Again Tomorrow

Many antispyware program servers have issues on the first day of updates. Basically, they get plugged up with all the users downloading updates. Wait for a day or so and see if it helps. It usually does.

Hope this helps.

If you dare, you might try disabling your firewall and downloading the update again. You didn't say what OS you're using or if you have a firewall enabled. I just updated Spyware Blaster without any problem.
