I am running a new Gateway computer with xp pro and lately it has been running slow. I got the Microsoft Spyware beta program and it says it is doing it's thing, but... But when I run Adware it continues to find more spyware but the Adware program won't complete and give me a chance to delete the Spyware.

I have rebooted my computer, and restarted the Adware program and still the same. I have done a disk scan to correct any problems on the hard drive and also taken out the Microsoft Spyware bata program and reloaded Adware and it still does the same thing, just won't complete.

Any ideas?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
