I'm just wondering if anyone has had this problem with Spybot. I've been running it with no problems for a few weeks and then all of a sudden my device manager in XP shows no hardware. not one piece of hardware on my computer. I figured it out because i lost my sound, so i went into device manager to make sure my sound driver was ok and there was nothign at all in device manager. I'm assuming it deleted the registry entry. So it looks like I have to do an XP reinstall and hope for the best. But I thought I'd post this so people would be aware, be careful with what Spybot finds so you don't delete soemthing Windows needs to operate properly

Reports are mounting, but so far, Spybot is not always involved.

My bet? -> MALWARE.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
