I find software solutions to be unreliable. Look at http://www.keyghost.com/ So far we find that no one suspects that one.

how would you discover if someone was watching your pc? my friend thinks her partner is watching her internet activity while she's online from his laptop and mobile but has somehow hidden the software/file, she has to KEEP on unchecking her remote assistance even tho he can't use her laptop and nobody else but her uses it

Dear ezmon:

Go to Eric Howes website at: http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm
Eric Howes is the recognized expert on Spyware and spyware scanners.
As for spyware and adware scanners, go with Ad-Aware SE 1.05 and SpyBot 1.3 for starters. Add Spy Sweeper Giant or Pest Patrol and you should be in good shape. You'll see these and other useful tools at Eric Howes' site.
And watch where you surf!

Whilst your reply ostensibly helps this original poster with the question raised, did you see the date?

The original post was in 2004, so I doubt the issue still remains.

Therefore I am treating your post as an advert for the product you offered and as that contravenes Forum Policy I have deleted it.
