Question

sputtering audio on videos with chrome browser

Aug 2, 2012 4:21AM PDT

I''v been using the Chrome browser for a few months now .I use it to watch hulu with good results till one or two days ago.The videos now have sputtering audio on full screen with slow and jerky video.Turning off hardware acceleration didn't help it and the prblm remains on low, med., or high quality video.I tried the firefox browser and internet explorer and have no problem with the hulu videos. What do you think could be the problem?

I went to the suggested sight.I don't understand most of the tech talk so I didn't want to try it out.I found it strange it only happens on the chrome browser so I told the chrome forum.Quite a few of the chrome users have the same problem recently.I will follow this problem on the chrome forum. Thanks for your concern. Also I was thinking the problem might be caused by Chrome from their end.Mfaybe if i just wait Chrome will find a solution.

Chrome can never find a fix for that issue.

The tech talk is one of the reasons why I feel XP's time has come and gone. Folk are not willing to dive into this anymore.

Since that problem is not caused by Chrome it's nothing Chrome can fix.

wouldn't the signal be different from chrome?

wouldn't the signal be different from chrome?Doesn't it make sense to think the incoming data from chrome is somehow different since firefox and IE don't have the problem and the hulu address from which the data coming is the same for all 3 browsers?

Sorry no. For the issue I noted.

It's not an internet issue at all. The fact that IE doesn't have an issue is a clue but I shared a common issue I run into and it appears to be too much for some.

For now, why not use the browser that works?
