Around here I can try S, V, T, ATT, VM and Tracfone. The results are as consistent as a horse racing and in fact, closer to the truth as location, time of day and even weather can affect which horse wins the race.

there's too much confusion about the speed and reliability of these cell phone providers... a few months ago, i decided i had had enough of Sprints service... too many dropped calls, no service, missed emails, missed msgs, lies about the completion of tower repairs and most importantly... the embarrassment i suffered from hangups on my customers. After being a local Sprint customer for 8 yrs, I made a change. I polled friends and family about the their opinion of the different providers and It came down to AT&T vs Verizon...
I shopped around and decided to buy a New Galaxy Note 3 from BestBuy (they priced matched and I got my reward points)and activated it at the Verizon store.
So, I go into Verizon retail store, still in position of my Sprint serviced Galaxy 3. I wanted to discuss the different plans and benefits vs Sprint. In short, i challenged the associated to an App download competition... their in store display Galaxy S4 vs my Sprint Galaxy S3.
Conclusion: My Sprint Galaxy S3 downloaded Subway Surfer 4 seconds faster than their S4 Verizon serviced deviced!!! I was dumbfounded!!! Sprint out-dueled Verizon in their own house... the assocyates says, "well sir, you did say you were looking for better service,... less dropped calls... not faster downloads"
True story!!!
