I have a Samsung VGA 1000 that i've had (and i must say beat up) for the past year and change. I love the phone as it can definitally take a beating and has alot of nice features and the pictures aren't that bad. My only problem is their text messaging. Im a teenager and therefore spend more time text messaging than talking on the phone nowadays. My problems start right when i recieve a new SMS (if i recieve it at all). I then can click on the link and wait about 30 seconds to 2 or more minutes for my inbox to load. Then i can click on the message. THEN i have to wait for the browser to load again (approx 30 sec or more) and finally i can read my message. Thats a total of 4 or more minutes just to read a simple text message. By the time I finally send another one out ill probally have spent 10-15 minutes to do so. My q is why my phone, that is much better and more advanced then my friends, has to go online to do all this while one of my friends, who also has a sprint phone just w/o internet capablity, can easily do all this in less than half the time and hassle? Am i forced to get a less advanced phone in order to text message w/o hassle? I realize this is really long and i'm sorry for that but the truth is i haven't even talked about all the browser errors, missed texts, texts coming hours late, ect....
