I'm Blown Away with Mine!

Yes, I have the new Sprint PPC-6600 and I am totally blown a way, both in price (For what you get all rolled up into one.)and reliablity! This is ONE SUPER PHONE!!! I gladly traded in my Treo 600 for my new PPC-6600 which was the best thing I have ever done for myself! Would I do it again? In a heart beat! I am sorry to say, at this point, I can not give you one feature I am NOT happy with, so get out there and buy up! I promise you, you will NOT be sorry!

You asked, "I want to use this as a modem for my laptop and also for a pda is it worth it??" YES!!!

Happy Talking (And fooling around like a kid again.)

I returned mine within 3 days. I had to reset the unit 4 times in 3 days bc it kept locking up. The ringer is so soft that I missed every call (unless I happened to be looking at the phone to see the caller ID display). To protect the touch screen, the phone needs to be kept in a case. However, the included case covers the speaker portion of the phone. I asked a friend to call it as we sat and listened. We couldn't even hear it. Also, if you are dialing directly from the touch screen phone display without a headset, you run the risk of disconnecting your call when your cheek touches screen. There is no ringer ID capability. The internet connection is twice as slow as my previous Samsung VGA-1000. In order to disconnect from the internet, you have to turn the phone off and turn it back on. If you're needing to be discreet, this is not only inconvenient but loud as there is a loud chime each time the phone is turned on or off. Bluetooth connection with the unit sometimes locks up so you have to wait for the call to go into VM, turn off bluetooth and call the caller back. The user manual is WEAK. All these problems I experienced in 3 short days...Voice quality is good though - assuming you're able to catch the call.
