There are spotty reports about total wipeouts after using certain features. I'm not going to give it a thumbs up or down but a simpler don't bother with it.

Spotmau - Do not purchase! - New!
by DayzednConfuzed - 6/1/09 5:15 AM In reply to: Spotmau Power Suite .... opinions? by bri1644

I have recently purchase this software suite and had problems with XP Pro losing the "Personal Safe". As if that wasn't problem enough, tech support has been absolutely no help in resolving the issue. The filenames they ask me to look for are mis-spelled in their request and mis-spelled on my computer. There are so many errors that tech support could not find the files they needed. I did a search on my own and found the mis-spelled files in question.

Once sent to tech support it has been over 72 hours without any action and responses to my questions have been along the lines of, "You will have your safe back real soon" when asked for a refund they said "Don't worry about it".

I highly recommend everyone stay away from this software and would be happy to provide the script from my tech support nightmare to anyone who requests it for verification of the poor service.

The program is garbage, and support is horrible. I bought the pogram to fix a corrupted ntldr and did not work, Another time on a different PC I tried using the partion genius to reduce the partion size on my HD, and that did not work, kept giving invalid size error, I emailed support and al they do is ask stupid qustions on what steps I was using to do this when I had already included that info in the Intial email to them with the pc specs.

Spotmau scam

Spotmau Caution....Yes it is a scam. Had the same lack of response ( six attempts over six weeks)to their so called tech help center and never did resolve the problem nor did I get my refund as promised. The software provider,RegNow by Digital River Software seller, said it would reimburse dissatsified customers in the event the manufacturer would not, but never did. So caution warning on them as well.

Caution is an understatement. DO NOT purchase. I have had on going problems since foolishly purchasing Powersuite 2010.
Support is non existent except for meaningless emails that state that the problem is being looked at by Support but solutions are not forthcoming.
Numerous requests for a refund are denied.
The only conclusion I can draw is this is a SCAM.

I had a hard drive problem last January and it took 4 days for me to get a web side for a new download ( I paid for one year of downloads). Their support is absolutely terrible, worst I have seen in my 12 years with computers.
Go find something else, is my advice.
