Can anybody please provide a solution to this problem?

Any message in the event log?

The strange thing: it happens on all PC's in the network. What do they print to? A print server common to all, or a local printer?

What happens if you get such a PC off the network, reboot, install a local printer and print to that? That should work, of course. If not, do a clean install of the OS and try again. Probably some kind of corruption then. Having to do that on all PC's in the network isn't a nice prospect.

This is a typical problem of printing from Autocad drawing files.Spooler service problem starts from the plotter ,.....then printers.....then adobe pdf like that.

No informations in event log available.

Re: spoolsv error

If the problem is caused by Autocad, I'd call their tech support. And install the latest printer driver, of course (for whatever printer it is printed to, you didn't tell).

Does it happen also on PC's with Vista or Windows 7? Or only on XP?

This problem started!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi kees

This problem started only when we tried to print some of the drawings from our client.

In our pc's windows 7 and windows xp are there.

Any tool is available for fixing spooler error?

You're not very clear about the issue.

You started with saying "all of our PC's with windows xp on the network".

Now it seems to be "all windows 7 and windows XP pc's that used autocad to print a certain drawing from a certain client". That's quite something else.

And you still didn't tell about the printer, nor the results of your experiments with another driver or other printers.

All I can say: it could be a problem with Autocad or its settings, with the drawings of that particular client, with the printer driver or with the printer. That are 5 options. Fix all 5 and it might work, unless it's still another one. Then try an Mac to print these particular drawings.

That's all for the moment.

Kees thankyou for prompt reply!

Hi kees

I found the problem started with the spooler folder in windows

After changing the default location of spooler folder it solved the problem

Good job. Thanks for telling.

And that happened on all your PC's at the same moment? That's strange. Maybe a setting of some protection program present on all those PC's?
