Go to the processes tab of task manager, sort it on CPU use (descending) and see if there's any process active (using the CPU) when you see that spinning circle. Then that's likely to be the cause.

hi im getting spinning blue circle next to curser even though im not using it it comes and goes most of the time even thogh im not using curser or actioning anything im using windows 7
