For a dead PC (by the way this is well discussed, google "The Dead PC") you wait for it to really dry out and the re-test. If it fails you downsize the machine like you read in your research to as few parts as you can. If the 4 parts don't stay on, it's one of those parts.
If the least number of parts stays on, you power down, add one part and test.
Keep adding till done or you find the bad parts.
So today I was out and about and had not been on my computer all morning. I got home around mid day and turned on my computer. It started up normally besides the fact that my monster said "no signal" when it was plugged in. This is when I noticed that there was some water on my desk. I turned off the computer and wiped up all the water. I was unaware that water got inside the computer at this point. When I tried to turn my computer back on, the light briefly came on, then flickered off. I decided not to try and turn it on anymore. So I unplugged everything and took the side off of the case, and sure enough, there was water inside. There wasn't like a puddle of water inside but there were droplets and everything was damp. I wiped out all the water that I could see. Now I have my computer leaning over on its side so that any water can run out and so it can fully dry. From what I have said does it sound fixable? And is there anything else I can do to try and repair it?
