I confused about the grammar checking in Mac Mail as it doesn't work, spell check does but grammar doesn't, there is NO green underlines

under Composing, select an option from the "Check Spelling" pop-up menu
To have Mail check automatically:
<div>Choose Mail > Preferences, click Composing, and then select an option from the "Check spelling" pop-up menu.
</div>
Yes check the options in the prefs and the menu edit but still doesn't check the grammar in Mail.
@davina85,
I agree it is rubbish. I did manage to get it to check grammar once but all it advised was that it seemed to be a sentence fragment. Hardly helpful. I found it hard to construct a bad sentence but did manage an awful one in the end.
For the moment, that is the Apple solution to grammar checking.
