Spell check on Outlook Express 98

Aug 14, 2004 12:52AM PDT

When I try to spell check I get message "the feature you are trying to use is on a CD Rom that is not available. Insert Works 2000 disk.
I don't have or use it but it is on my computer and Add/remove won't get rid of it. When I try to remove it tries to install.
Help.

Use these words at google.com

OESPELL
IESPELL

You'll find an addon since you don't have the right CD.

Thanks for info on IESPELL. I would like to try and solve the problem by getting rid of the Works 2000 it's trying to find. I tried to remove it using add/remove but it wants to install it and looks for the disc. Is there another way of getting it off my hard drive?
Thanks, Norm

Remove the item from the add/remove list with TWEAKUI.

Poof, gone.

Hi Bob,
I Goggled, went to MS, followed download instructions, and went in circles.I.E. Set up folder, downloaded to folder, It said I had successfully unzipped four files, then when I clicked on file it sent me back to the dialouge box again.
Could I trouble you to try it and see if I've lost it.
Thanks,
Norm

TWEAKUI install is by some right-click install. It's noted somewhere at that download site.
