I purchased a Speed HD-10Z late last year and used it fine until my daughter borrowed it to record her and her friends. She swears she did nothing to damage it, and I can find no visible sign of damage. After that the battery would not charge, so I cleaned the charging contacts. No luck. I bought a new charger. No luck. I bought a new battery. Still no luck. I plugged in the mini-USB cable from my computer into the DC IN slot on the camera and got a green light but nothing else, still no power. I do not want to have to buy another video camera if I can help it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
