Hello everyone !
I recently started turning an old laptop into a custom console running lakka. I want it to have all ports connected on the back. In order to do so, I need a VGA cable longer than the stock one. This is the stock cable : https://shop.mcccomputers.com/miscellaneous-cables/6798-toshiba-satellite-l355-l355d-l355-s7915-l355-s7817-l355d-s7901-vga-video-out-cable-6017b0148401-8589638073998.html
I need the exact same cable but 30 to 35 cm long. I can't use a VGA extender because it's too big.
Do you think I can buy this cable somewhere ? or should I extend it by the JST-SH (14 pins) side ?
Also the VGA output is not mandatory, an HDMI would be OK too. I already extended the motherboard's audio output.
Another option is the old LCD screen output on the motherboard, but this would require a circuit board to output HDMI or VGA. I don't want to waste space.
If you want an idea of what I want to make, it's similar to this :

But running the lakka x86 OS pc version, info there :
