It does indeed take the village to raise the children. While I am fully aware that the mother and her boyfriend are to blame. much trouble might have been avoided if the school had followed proper procedures. We need to get back to watching out for all the children (Ours and theirs). We have gone too far in practicing "live & let live".

Very sad indeed.

The rates of such attacks are considerably higher for a non-bio dad, and higher still when there is a man in the home who has not made the "family" commitment by marrying the mother. Another tragedy which incidence of increases when the importance of a two bio-parent family is downplayed and even ignored by society.
