I don't think you can do all your shopping online. go to some stores that can not only sell you the equipment but can do the installation and get recommendations and prices. then you can go online and research the quality of what they are suggesting.
speakers come in fairly standard sizes so you ought to be able to figure out the sizes with a tape measure. get a rough measurement and then compare them to what you are seeing for sale.
sounds like you want to buy a radio that will fit your dash and has an I-pod connection. sites like crutchfield will let you end your car model and then show you radios that will fit.
ok so boxing day is coming up, and i have this 2000 Pontiac Sunfire i got from my dad, the rear speakers don't work, and the front ones are sounding really bad. So i figured i would get a deck/amp/speakers/sub/whatever
Now i know nothing about car speakers, so i dont even know what i need to get, (im guessing two front, a sub(dont even know where this would go), a deck, an amp and two rear?)
I was checking futureshop(probably not the best place to look) but some of the deals didnt look to bad, but the problem is i dont even know the sizes of my speakers in my car (so my question is how would i find this out)
For the car deck, does it need to be a certain size too? and if i wanted to hook up my Ipod too it, how would i do this
Sorry for the stupid questions, but I'm clueless to anything car related, any help would be appreciated
and then once i buy it all comes the installation, I'm hoping my mechanic can do it for me... if not, maybe one of my friends.
