Question

speaker and mouse won't work on start up.

13" macbookpro, 10.6.7, 2.53ghz, 4G. My Kensington mouse and JBL speaker will not work after turning on my machine. I have to unplug them and then plug them back in to get them to work. What gives?

Sounds like a warranty issue.

I would try another mouse and speaker.

hey sorry to hear about your dilemma, uhm depending on when you got this computer you can bring it back to store where purchased ( if under warranty ) and have them exchanged for new ones, or unplug both of them, take compressed air can and spray out both usb ports and the usb port plug in on the devices
