SPDIF only outputs 2 channels?

Sep 5, 2005 9:08AM PDT

I am trying to go from one computer to another to share one set of speakers...

I am using an audigy series to output (through coax) spdif to a Realtek (nForce 4) and can only seem to get it to output in 2 channels...

KX drivers are used for the audigy and nvmixer for the Realtek...

Theres all sorts of options that i've been playing with like SPDIF Bypass, Decode SPDIF to AC3, etc, and I can't seem to find the right combination... I have tried windows media player classic, and also windvd.

Anyone have a clue where to look to fix this?

I am using just a regular RCA cable instead of the "digital coax" cable... Could that cause it?
