Spanish translation program somehow enabled within IE8

Without knowing it, I somehow enabled Google translate or some other program which automatically provides a Spanish translation for text over which the cursor hovers. How can I disable this?

It is likely a toolbar or an add-on

You don't say which browser, so all I can suggest is generic.

Goto the browser's Tools menu option and look for the Add-ons option. Search that for any Spanish translation toolbars or add-ons.

Thanks, it's IE8, and I found that "word translate" was enabled on Google Translate. Unchecking that fixed the problem.
