Question

Spacebar's front is popping out, strange issue / GL62M 7REX

Aug 12, 2018 6:17AM PDT

So I come for help, I posted this on IFixIt forums but no one knows how to fix it, so I thought here would be a good alternative.

So recently I started having problems with my spacebar, very hard to press and uncomfortable to use while gaming, so I removed it to see some gunk in there, I cleaned it up and when I put it back together, it started popping out, like the front was up much higher than the back:

I'm not even sure what's wrong here, I put the spacebar back together as instructed!

Bottom of the key lifted up (Front bar disconnected from spacebar)

So far no one knows the cause of this, please help

Answer
Usually just use and wear.

When it can't pop back into place we install a new laptop keyboard. There will be clients that what the keyboard repaired but there are few if any spare bits and parts so you tell them no and price out the keyboard.

The laptop is fairly new, one or two weeks in use.

That only means

That it's in warranty. In fact, is it inside the return or exchange window so you don't have to deal with service?
