sp3 and chm file

After installed sp3 on my winxp pro laptop,
most of my chm files became not readable (open them you see invalid url page)

Any way to fix this? thanks

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=xp+chm+fix finds a few too many fixes. Given the story I think I'd try the first hit, retest then the second, retest and so on.
