General discussion

Just upgraded with Windows SP2 and it seems to be working ok so far. I am using XP Media Center Edition.
The only problem I seem to be having is that I cannot get images in my e-mail or newsletters, logos etc. to show now. I still am able to view attached images or pictures inserted in my email. Any one have any suggestions? Its not a real earth shattering problem just irrating.

K, Have You Checked This ?

In reply to: SP2

Assuming you're using Outlook Express, open OE, then click on "Tools" in the upper left, choose "Options" from the menu. When that opens, click on the "Security" tab,, then UNCHECK the box next to "Block images and other external content in HTML mail". Click on "Apply", then OK.

This is a security measure in SP2 that protects your computer from improper coding in HTML mail. Disabling it makes you less safe, but may be necessary for some users.

Hope this helps.
