sound problem

by jtx472 / March 22, 2008 11:59 PM PDT

I have XP and Vista installed on the same computer. On XP the sound works fine. On Vista every time I click something it buzzes for a second or two. It also buzzes every time the login screen appears. Device Manager says my audio driver is up to date. Any suggestions? Thanks

I don't understand why, because I'm not that knowledgeable about all that technical stuff, but I uninstalled the audio driver and allowed Vista to auto install it on the next startup. I've restarted several times now and it's working fine...no buzz. Thanks for your help.
