Question

Sound output on LG tv

I recently bought an LG 49lf510v tv and the sound quality is terrible, I wanted to plug in some speakers but there is NO audio output. I use the built in freeview tuner and I am wondering if there is any way I can connect speakers to it.

Tell more about the speaker connection.

Some try RCA jacks and those are inputs, not outputs.

Most TVs have barely there speakers.

I wanted to plug in 3.5m aux input speakers to improve the sound but there are no sound outputs on the tv. Some people said about using the hdmi????

You'll have to ask them about HDMI for sound output.

Here that doesn't work. I see no reason an aux input would output to speakers. Check that manual to see if you are using the output jack and even then, it won't go to speakers. It must go to a sound bar or amplifier.

I meant my speakers have 3.5 male end and there is no where to plug it in on my tv

"Great looking TV but this has absolutely NO external sound connectivity. You can't connect speakers, sound bars or even headphones. Also, this is quite a mystery product as there is apparently no info on this model on the LG website. The only thing this has going for it is the size of the screen. I would give this a lot of thought before purchasing."

The LG website does not document any way to connect other sound systems.

HOWEVER this won't stop us from setting up the usual. That is all sources to a receiver then the last video from receiver to HDTV.
